House move advice

House move advice

We’ve noticed we have a lot of people currently storing whilst their house move is taking place.   From what we see recently there has been a lot of movement since we came out of the last national lockdown that has caused a surge in moves getting done.

With this, we thought we would add some advice and a link to the government information that they are currently putting out.

We’ve picked a few points from the website that we feel are very important, but we advise that you read the government webpage to get a full understanding.

  • Initial viewings should be done virtually wherever possible.
  • Wear a suitable face covering when visiting an agent’s office or viewing a property.
  • All physical viewings where prospective buyers or renters will be entering the property should involve no more than 2 households inside the property at any one time.
  • Viewings should be arranged by appointment only.
  • When moving between properties, you and those in your household should try to do as much of the packing yourself as you can.

With that we hope your house move goes smooth and well!
